"As Ralph Waldo Emerson, the leader of the transcendentalist movement in the mid-19th century, once said: “The purpose of life is not to be happy. It is to be useful, to be honorable, to be compassionate, to have it make some difference that you have lived and lived well.”.
Though I have negligible weaknesses, I also have the right mix of likable qualities. I am optimistic and ready for any adventurous task. Believing that mutual cooperation is the way to succeed, I like to help people whenever possible — as an open-minded citizen of my community, seeing the coronavirus epidemic escalating day by day has made me reflect on what I can do. My primary goal is to make an impact in our community because when we give cheerfully and accept gratefully, everyone is blessed."
Jerry: Has haD a pet turtle for 7 years, but never named it.Born during the SARS crisis in 2003, Jerry understands the dangers of pandemics. Demonstrated by his involvement with local orphanages and communities, Jerry has an eager heart to serve.

Two days later, on January 23rd, many of the students were absent, my peers around me wore masks, and our all-school assembly was cancelled. As the coronavirus directly affects my community, I knew I wanted to take part in the efforts to foster change."
